President of the 22nd Annual Meeting of the Japanese Society for Adult Congenital Heart Disease

It is my great pleasure to inform you that the 22nd Annual Meeting of the Japanese Society for Adult Congenital Heart Disease (ACHD) will be held from January 17 to January 19, 2020, at the Tokyo Conference Center, Ariake in Tokyo, Japan(https://www.tokyo-cc.co.jp/eng/ariake/index.html).

Please note the deadline for submission will be 31st August 2019.

The annual meeting of the Japanese Society for ACHD is the most prestigious conference on adult congenital heart disease in Japan, and it is organized by faculty members from the Japanese Society ofCardiology, Pediatric Cardiology, Cardiovascular Surgery, and Obstetrics and Gynecology. We expect approximately 800 participants at the next annual meeting. The main theme of the 2020 meeting will be Professionalism and Harmony for Comprehensive ACHD Management, whichwill focus on the refinement of multidisciplinary patient care, as based on a well-organized collaboration of experts in all affiliated sub-specialties.

In 2020, the Tokyo Olympic Year, we have invited many distinguished guest speakers, such as Dr. Duke E. Cameron, MD, PhD from Massachusetts General Hospital, Dr. Massimo Chessa MD, PhD from San Donato, University Hospital, Italy, Dr. Margarita Brida, MD, PhD from University Hospital Centre Zagreb, Croatia, Dr. Pedro delNido MD, PhD from Boston Children’s Hospital, and Dr. Erwin Oechslin, MD, PhD from Toronto, Canada.

As the president of this congress, I would like to extend my warmest wishes in officially inviting you to submit an abstract, and I sincerely believe that your participation will contribute significantly to the success of this congress.
